checkitout, kids. Heres the words to a song i'm working on. I'm finding it really hard to come up with a sound that fits just right, but i'm finally trying. finally.
It has a very very specific meaning to me, all of it is symbolism and all of it means something which is pretty cool. This song is about something that i've been living in for a little more than a decade and how i feel about all that.
uh, anyway..
Where Maidens make decisive nests
in my backyard
Trembling Mare with long black hair
trimed back far
And both these sights strike deeply
deep and golden star
somber settling
Evening trees cornering
Shrieking girls running and always glowing
For Maidens of the Midnight have
Few things to say
But they take my breath away
Dark eyed and moving lips becon
men like me
to come
and see
just how brightly they glow
nightly and
Majesticaly
If you could only see and hear their breath
Lisping simmering on my tongue
Trimming my consistency
Brimming creativity
Noble, promise hips and legs
Ribs and palms and ribbon
A nest hatches after what lays it
Is long long gone
Dear midnight friend so long,
Where have you left me bare and drawn
The dark crisp winds my shirt and shoes
God knows i'll do my best
Run most high and pass the rest
To make it back to one more crest
Where I feel alive
So alive
And never true to me
Never ever true to anything
After you flicker dark away
All that you give me
All that you gave me
Was the bitter dark you left for me
Like a kicked torn present on christmas morning
Mom and dad yellin
My eyes clenched shut, my hands on my mouth
And i scream at you in silence for leaving me in the place I'm in
Didn't you promise me more than this?
god, you were so beautiful... but now you failed
